Welcome to the Parish of Abingdon-on-Thames

We are a group of three Church of England churches who work together as a Team Ministry, serving the centre and south of Abingdon.

We aim to worship God, to grow in faith and to share Jesus Christ with others.

Changes for our clergy.

We are very pleased to announce that the Revd Dr Jennifer Brown has accepted the post of Rector of Abingdon-on-Thames and will take up her post in later October. She will be licensed on Tues 21st Oct at 7pm in St Helen's Church.

Our churches are members of the Church in Abingdon, an ecumenical project to which nearly all the Christian churches in the town of Abingdon belong.

St Michael's Church — St Michael's follows the Anglo-Catholic tradition with a celebration of the Mass every Sunday.

St Helen's Church — St Helen's worship is focussed on the Eucharist, but also includes a variety of Sunday evening and weekday services.

At St Nicolas', the formal services of Holy Communion and Morning Prayer are complemented by less formal family services.
